Congrats to the Boys of Aunt Martha for being named one of PureVolume's Top 20 Unsigned Bands of The Year

after listening to the other 19 bands... I feel like this list could have been the top 5 unsigned bands...but still a great accomplishment.

I hope in the years to come, i hope cate and I are still able to work with these doods.

In this addition of aunt martha's cover thursday tim cover's All I Need by the boys of Radiohead

This is a pretty awesome photo of astro, taken by Ben LaFond during the first night, of the Doomtree blow out, however what makes the photo even more awesome, is that i'm in the background greatly out of focus.

I don't take cabs often, but this past weekend when my little brother was in town, we grabbed one, and a commercial i edited played during our trip.

this is a short film i just finished, with music by aunt martha

this is the second short i've made about people liking televisions a little too much, the first one was a lot more experimental, odds are i'll have to make a 3rd one to finish out the trilogy.

I used to hate time warner's internet, but after this, its looking pretty good.

Here is one of the new cover videos I filmed for Aunt Martha. (we have 4 more coming) I'm excited to show of this video, because its the first time i got to really use my new camera (outside of that amazing dance video of cate and I (pw=test))

tomorrow i head to minneapolis to continue filming for the Astronautalis documentary, my goal is to finish editing up the aunt martha cover videos on the plane ride

this is a short piece, that I edited for michelle's gallery. Erica and I are both completely shocked and amazed by how many people have viewed this video, it is truly a testament to how incredible Michelle was.

this piece was rushed together, but we are working on an other short film, that focuses on Michelle's fight with cancer, and her developing her artistic style.

the first two days of filming for the astro documentary have been amazing.

last night we decided that this documentary has to be bigger than we originally anticipated and talked with astronautalis, but possibly following him for a year. (and it seems like its going to happen)

I grew up wanting to be in a band, music was what i based my life around. when the internet started taking over, I was able to hear so many bands i never would have been able to. a site that has always had a very special spot in my heart was pure volume. where myspace was about gossip, and facebook is about friends, purevolume has always just been about music. it is a true honor having some of the videos i've worked on be featured on there site.

this weekend, i finally got my act together, and made an actually website (sorry blogspot) you've been a great friend over the years. but moving on.

my site will have a blog portion to it, so the zero people that read this, can still read about whats going on in my creative/non creative life.
